1. What is this app?

We are a space created by and for the Latino community of Waiheke Island. Here you can share experiences, post or search for jobs, accommodation, second-hand sales, events, and everything that helps us live better on the island. The app is NOT a company, employment agency, or intermediary. We only connect people.

2. By registering you accept these rules

The simple act of creating an account or using the app means you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

3. What is allowed and what is not
We recommend posting and searching for:
  • Formal and legal job offers (such as in vineyards, construction, cleaning, hospitality, etc.), preferably with a contract, tax declaration, and KiwiSaver contributions when applicable.
  • Accommodation, second-hand sales, car rides, legal trades or exchanges with invoice/registration when necessary.
  • Events, notices, or positive community activities.
Avoid posting or searching for:
  • Cash job offers without declaration, without contract, without taxes or KiwiSaver (this can cause legal problems for everyone and we do not support it).
  • Illegal, offensive, racist content or content that shows disrespect.
  • Spam, unauthorized business advertising, or unrelated repeated posts.
4. Specific rules for jobs

Whoever posts a job and whoever accepts it commit to complying with New Zealand law. The app does not review or control that agreements comply. That responsibility is 100% of the users.

5. Moderation

Administrators can delete posts or suspend accounts if we believe they violate these rules. We are not obligated to review all content, but we can act when we deem it necessary.

6. Our responsibility

The creators and administrators are NOT responsible for:

  • Agreements made between you.
  • If someone doesn't pay, doesn't comply, or there are problems at work.
  • Any damage, loss, or dispute arising from the use of the app.

Any employment problem is resolved directly between the parties or with the authorities (Labour Inspectorate, MBIE, Mediation Services, etc.).

7. Privacy

We only store the data necessary for the app to function (name/nickname, phone, profile photo). We do not sell or share it with third parties.

8. Changes to these rules

We may modify these terms when necessary. We will notify you within the app with a few days' notice.

9. Applicable law

Everything is governed by New Zealand law. Any serious conflict is resolved in the courts of Auckland.
